Some of these events may also be sent as compressed MPEG2 at 20 Mbps.  These may be viewed on a high-performance network on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus (like the Twenty-First Century Network).  This will only work on wired 100 Mbps Ethernet connections on networks with multicast enabled.  It will not work on wireless connections, DSL or cablemodem connections, or on networks with Category 3 cable.  Many consumer-grade Ethernet switches have difficulties with multicast.  If you experience problems receiving this multicast and you have an Ethernet switch on a network jack, try bypassing the switch or connecting to a different jack.  This also requires a high-performance computer, like a PC with a CPU clock greater than about 2.5 GHz.  One MPEG2 video player is VideoLAN.  When using VideoLAN, use the "File" "Open Network Stream" menu,  select  "UDP/RTP Multicast", enter the address 233.0.73.26 and accept the default port of 1234.
