• The Age of Spiritual Machines by Ray Kurtzweil

Kurtzweil is a genius - an inventor and writer.  He shows the growth in computing power, and predicts that computers will have more computing power than humans within the next 20 years.  He doesn't see that technology is necessarily an evil.  He talks about the cultural transformation that has taken place and will continue to take place as computing grows in capability.   One of the issues Kurtzweil talks about is the way things seem to be going faster...
• Faster by James Gleick

Gleick is a very good science writer, and writes well for the general public.  He examines the history of time, and how it affects culture.  This effect of time is a significant issue in cultural transformtion, and demonstrates how media or technology change the very way we think.
• Stiffed by Susan Faludi

Faludi explores that fact that, men, despite being the dominant dominator gender (my words, not hers), suffer the effects of living in dominator culture.  This will help for Partnership education.  I interpret this book as a well-known feminist showing our culture that dominator behavior benefits few people...including men.
• The Soul at Work the book, by Roger Lewin
